The hidden winch kit doesn't put the front bumper out that far. Honestly you can barely tell. If I wanted to keep the factory bumper, I'd definitely use the hidden winch setup. The bumper being spaced out helps clear larger tires anyway. I don't like the way the transformer kit sticks out personally.
I agree with hasteranger. On all points. So much so that this is what I did:
ABOVE: Genuine Ford Accessory front fender flares line up perfectly with Warn front bumper extension flares for hidden kit. Stock 31.5" tires shown.
BELOW: "PowerStroke by International License Plate cover completely conceals the Warn Roller Fairlead. Winch? What winch? Do you see a winch?
