I have all but given up on a clean looking hidden winch setup for my 250. That's apparently never going to happen.
So so now I am looking for a clean looking front bumper with provisions for a winch. My only requirement is that it dosent look like something that just left the set of mad max and it dosent make the truck look like it has an overbite like the warm ascent.
Front hitch receiver and a suitable removable winch mount. Then the winch can be used at either end, and can be stowed out of sight, safe and secure while it's not needed ... which is hopefully never (assuming it is only used for self-recovery). I do some tree work on the side and may go that route.

i have been that rout before and it's not as good as you think it will be. You can't sideload the winch at all or you will bend the mount. That's bad but not the worst part.
I ran a QD style plug to the front and back of my old truck using zero gauge welding lead. After very few uses on the rear of the truck the motor burned up. After a little research and some number crunching I figured out that the voltage drop from the battery to the rear QD was fairly significant. My guess is that's what wiped out the winch.
I talked to Sparks a few weeks back, they are still planning on giving me some numbers on the hidden winch mount, but with as busy as those guys are I wouldn't plan on it getting completed anytime soon. Sadly I am in the same boat as yourself, I plan to go with either the Rogue Racing Revolver or ADD Honey Badger winch mount bumpers. I like the low profile, streamlined look and both of those bumpers provide that without the bulk of the typical winch bumper look.
You guys aren't the only ones looking for a clean almost OE looking winch bumper. I took my warn winch off my 01 super duty and it sits on the garage floor.
the kellerman ( I think that's how it's spelled) is close. I once had the warn hide a winch and never liked the look from the side.
Adding to it all is my truck has adaptive cruise

I use a ****** block (or two) to avoid the side loading problem. I ran a winch in a cradle on the rear of my prior truck. I used a the Warn cables to go from the battery to the rear. It worked well and I still have that winch. I transfer it to my ATV where I also have a set of quick connect cables.
I'm going to be running the new (not formally released yet) Ranch Hand Horizon front bumper very soon. I had the Ranch Hand Sport Series Winch bumper on my 2016 F450.
I had Buckstop on my F150 and i plan on getting one for the new rig as well. I dont think you can avoid the overbite unless you do a custom winch plate that fits between the frame rails,i have seen it done on F150s should be doable on the 250s

From what I can see it dosent look like the horizon has provisions for a winch. That's one of the few I have seen that I liked though.
I'm shopping for a Winch Bumper. So far, Warn is the only Bumper I've found that has been crashed tested and Air Bag compatible.
I like it's simplistic/streamlined and low profile look. The price point is excellent and the crash testing and air bag capability are nice perks. My only complaint is the top of the winch sticking out above the top of the bumper. Looks are subjective, but it bothers me for some reason.

I thought the same thing until I saw pictures of it installed on a stock-ish F350. I was shocked at how far it stuck out from the grill. None of the promo pictures I have seen do it justice. It looked like the truck had the worst underbite imaginable.
