I won't be in the market for a 2017 but if I was that design would be disappointing to say the least.

It would be nice to get rid of the Farm Implement rear fenders on the Dually and go back to the previous generation design (more aero looking)...

The '15 F150 has a far better looking front end than this thing. Glad I got mine when I did.

Randy, someone made a good point on that front in the one page thread. I too dislike the look of the DRW rear fenders BUT they are that way for a reason. The better looking Ram type DRW fenders keep you out away from the bed making it harder to reach what's inside and making it harder to get to your fiver release handle.

Nothing a couple of nice little molded in steps couldn't take care of.

I wonder how long it will take them to send me my consultation fee.

Absolutely agree. The fenders looked awful until the first time you reach over and pull that lever on the fifth wheel hitch.

Not bad lol, but I'd still rather reach it from the ground than climb... Maybe a swing away fender hinged in the front?

I personally like the current DRW fenders. Less of it out there is you need a tight turn.

The squarish look of the hood, dopey looking mirrors and really dumb badging. Are the things that need to be worked on. The rest is ok and would probably grow on me. It seems really low to the ground. They could definitely add some height.

The mirrors are a carryover from the new 150. The front end is quite square ala GM and has a forward lean it would seem. I'm thinking the low to the ground is because it's a 2WD. If I'm wrong about this one, I'll be happy. Not because it looks good but because those of us with SRW 350's and 5th wheels have been battling the ever growing rear height of these trucks. My last trailer had to be raised to get it to tow level. This was after raising my pinbox all the way and lowering my hitch all the way...

I agree. I personally like the '08 ton 10 front clip, with the 11 to 15 a very close second.
When did Ford actually "split" the body styles between the 150 & 250? 1997? It sure seems they're going back to the "old" way of doing things. I don't think that will be a wise decision, both trucks have a loyal following, I think the distinct differences in the models help with that. But,with both models going to aluminum bodies, probably a significant savings for Ford having to retool the factories to share alot of body panels.

If you look closely you can see the manual locking hubs(thank heavens Ford kept that).

Also...the 4x4 sticker on the bed.

But there is concern that they potentially ditched the solid axle for IFS which could explain the ride height.
