Yep the motor will be out. Do you have a pic or link to equivalent one by any chance, just so Im sure the style is correct. Something like this?

Was there a pic of this Glenn?
Andrew, that looks like the same one I used. Mine is a thick plastic handle, but otherwise shaped and looks just like that one. Like I said, the handle is removable on mine to use a wrench on the shaft, and that one probably is too, but I didn't use it that way much. Just cranked the handle down.

BTW, progress is looking good!

I made my oil drain pretty similar to that, except I made mine a very slight press fit and didn't use any sort of o-ring.
