Can't Find Correct Mirrors

I am attempting to find replacement mirrors for a 1996 F150 Reg Cab XLT.
They are the swing arm mirrors. I have found many mirrors of this type, but the mounting bolts are above the arm on the top bracket and I want them under the top arm like in the picture below. Rockauto and LMC only have the ones with the bolts on top, and autoanything only has the aero style.

Can anyone help me find the correct mirrors or a part number. These were intended to be a Christmas gift, but I have been searching for a couple days and couldn't find any of the correct ones.

I'm in the same boat. I want the original looking ones too for The Ghost.

The Ford part numbers are FOTZ-17696-B for the driver's side and FOTZ-17696-A for the passenger side. But expect to pay a LOT! The driver's side was a little under $100 and I think the passenger side was over $150!

They come with the brackets (chrome plated steel and brushed aluminum) and mirror heads (stainless steel). And the mirror heads stay in position without vibrating a lot better than any aftermarket mirrors I've tried.

I hope you really like the person you were getting a Christmas gift for!

Thank You very much, it appears as though a new gift might be in order, the ones on there are functional enough to save $160 at the cheapest. Thank you very much for a quick response though.

I am just trying to figure out if this is correct but do all 91+ trucks have these style mirrors?

I know our 90 doesn't but our 91 did. I am curious because I want to be kinda period correct on the 92 when I put the swing away mirrors on it.
I put my 88s old mirrors on our 91 so I know the mounting pattern is the same but curious if the 92s had it like that only.

That's what I'm going to do for mine.

The originals lasted 17 years before the chrome peeled and they rusted on the mounting brackets. So if OEM one's last another 17....I'll pay the price.

The OEM ones are WELL worth the money they want for them. Unless you like rust streaks down the door like the crap LMC sells you will do. O and shake so bad you can't see anything behind you.

As for the exact mirror the OP showed. they re from 92-96 +97 F250hd and F350

When the bolts are above the bracket, that is a 91 and older design

I didn't know 92+ had those mirrors, I thought we only had the stupid paddle mirrors and everything else was aftermarket. I gotta keep an eye out in the junkyards now, I want a set!

Just keep in mind. The paddle mirrors and the swing-a-ways(ones in 1st pic) do NOT have the same bolt pattern. Also there is a LARGE hole in the door behind the paddle mirrors the swing-a-way does NOT cover

I didn't know that, so much for that idea. Thanks for the heads up.
