My brother in law just bought a 11 f350 diesel.. He is at my house on the way back to VA and the oil drain plug just fell out of the pan...it is plastic 1/4 turn thing I have never seen before. His oil pan is also plastic or at least feels that way. What is this plug and how do we get another one on a Sunday... If you put it back in it take no pressure at all for it to be pulled back out. If anyone has idea call me 7573431002
Thanks
Joe
Just looked it up seems Ford had the bright idea to have a plastic 1/4 turn drain plug on the new diesels. Even though its Sunday any parts store should have one in stock call Napa, Advanced Auto, Auto Zone, Pepboys
Yeah not available at the local stores...he is having it towed to the dealer in the am...it's still under warranty not to mention he just bought it yesterday in Houston. Luckily it happened in the road in front of my house and not on the road...
Thanks he flew from va to tx to buy his truck and stopped to visit and this happened luckily here and not over the road...
