Everything was reading on long crank. I wait for everything to monitor with torque pro. Its kind of an all or nothing program....all readings are taken from OBD port. It says its connected. It will show no reading and not connected if its not ready

I suppose that there's logic at this stage of the game in waiting until the issue pops up again given that its been good for the last three days now.

Given that it has been good for the last three days, at least you can rule out software.

If it does show up again, what you'll want to check for during the long no start cranking is whether you have crank sync, cam sync, and ficm sync. You'll also want to be watching ICP and IPR numbers, along with of course your FICM main power numbers.

Note that continuing to run with longer crank times is putting a hurt on your starter, sure, but also a hurt on your FICM as it is being subject to elongated periods of less than awesome voltage.

Hope this helps!!

I struggled for almost a year trying to figure out why mine was acting up like this. It was very intermittent. Finally one morning it wouldnt start. I finally looked over the crank sensor and Cam sensor pigtail and found the wiring going to crank was shorted out. Replaced it and it has been fine ever since.

The symptom to watch for is when its cranking watch the rpm on your scanguage. Mine was turning over strong but only reporting 36 rpms. Once it would report 150 or more it would fire right up. It never threw a code just was fussy starting. Good luck
