Directly through AutoNation White Bear Lake is a good deal, but he gets better shipping rates when doing so through FordParts.com.

If all he is going to do is use it to get pricing so that he can get local dealers to price match, then going directly through AutoNation White Bear Lake (thanks for the link 04badford) is all he needs!

Edit again - I am too slow.

That is the correct link now, but it takes me to my home page and his problem is specifying them as his home dealership.

Maybe copying this URL and pasting in his browser would work: "http://www.fordparts.com/?dealer_id=09372" .

Is that the link you just posted? (since I have them specified already, your link takes me directly to my home page so I can't tell - maybe it is because of my computer's "stored cookies")

I think that worked. By simply going to their site, when I went back to my profile, their name now appears under My Dealers.

Yes for FP.com and I believe so for the truck - need to drive it today to be sure. It was running fine before it died and wouldn't start. Now, as soon as I replaced the IPR screen, it fired right up, so I expect it's fine. Thanks for asking.

I just wanted to make sure that all is good for you! This SOB truck has run you around pretty good. Now the question is was there a hole in the screen the whole time? If not what popped the hole in there?

sigh

Well took my test drive - not good.

IPR stays in the 30s even when warm, and SG still doesn't show any ICPV. So I'm guessing that I'm seeing the default values because the ICP sensor is not sending and either need a new sensor or check the wiring.

But worse, it's missing and I got several new codes, including a P0282, p0104, p0201, p0204, and P0102, although...

Aside - what's with my SG? It says I have 5 codes but only shows 2, but if I keep pushing the next/previous buttons I can sometimes get other codes to appear. And when I try to clear the codes, they don't clear.

I'm wondering whether I got all my connectors well seated when I put it back together last night. Also just remembered that I didn't push the wiring loom back on the valve cover studs, but I can't think that they chafed that fast - I only drove about 10 miles slowly through city traffic.

During all the injector problems I had, the truck never threw any injector codes. Does that 282 code refer to the wiring/voltage only, and not to possible o-ring/gasket issues? And what's the difference between a 282 code and those 201/204 codes (BTW, the 204 code only appeared briefly)?

Also, I may have misread the 204 code. Later, I could swear it said B0204. Are there B codes?

So, not sure if all the codes are legit, but the truck is definitely missing. The only injectors I haven't replaced are 4 and 8.

Yep, I've asked here a couple of times whether I should be worried about whatever blew that hole, but no one responded.

P0282 refers to a low circuit on #8
P0201 is an open circuit on #1
P0204 is an open circuit on #4

Looks like all electrical to me - might be worth checking FICM connections.

Could it be that I didn't get the loom seated properly into the FICM? Just can't imagine this all cropping up at once. It's pouring down and dark or I'd go check right now. I do recall thinking that one of the FICM connections didn't seem to click right when I put it back together. I got in a hurry last night because it was getting dark.

Dang, I need to get my garage cleaned out so I can work on it inside.

Are those erratic SG readings normal?

I had hoped you entered the gauges wrong, but that appears not to be the case.

As stated earlier, you need to find out why your getting icpv=0 and other open circuits. I just tried to post the pcm pin diagram, but could not post it from the phone. I'll try pushing from photobucket or do it tomorrow from work.

Disconnect those pins and start checking for oem circuits and grounds.

That may be the reason behind ALL your issues.

Also P0102 and P0104 are low/erratic circuit on your MAF
There is no B0204 that I am aware of.

I have not had issues w/ my scangauge, but I was just told a few days ago that they can be erratic.

Regarding the IPR screen hole - I can't recall .... have you worked on the oil cooler? Has the screen been pulled and inspected recently? Could you have gotten some trash in the HPO system when working on it? Have you always used OEM oil filters (and cap)?
