NEED HELP/ADVICE

I have looked everywhere online and can't find any help. I have one vehicle and no money to take it to the shop. And barely any for parts. So here's the problem. It won't start. We know it's gas related because it works when we put gas in the manifold by hand. So here's the run down. All the lines are replaced. The fuel pump and filter are new. New gas tank so the gas isn't bad. The only thing left to replace is the fpr. Fuel pressure regulator. But the signs aren't there... is there any way it could be a sensor of some sort?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Anthony, and welcome to the forums.
Hopefully it's something simple.

Fortunately, if you dump gas in and it runs, then it's more than likely in your fuel delivery system. Have you simply checked all of your fuses to be sure you haven't blown a fuse to the fuel pump? (I don't know how the EFI setup works since I don't have one). Or possibly junk in the tank that's plugging the let? Have you pulled codes from the computer?

No. I don't have a code reader. And the tank is new so it can't be gunk or slime. Maybe a fuse but I'm not sure. I'd have to check I really do need a code reader. May have to borrow one

so its a new tank...did a new strainer go on the pump unit? is there possibly a loose connection on an electrical lead to the pump that wasnt noticed when the tank was put in? if/when the key is turned to the on position, the pump should prime the line and there should be pressure going to the regulator prior to injection. i agree with the other fellas in checking the fuses and or maybe even replacing the fuses if you're not sure. sometimes they can fool ya. also double check all electrical connections to the tank. then check for pressure in the line. gotta try to narrow down the search by process of elimination.

Yea. It has a new filter. I bought fuses today but looks like they won't fit. Also got a new relay.. and bleed the lines in case there was air. There wasnt. Someone mentioned a driver module that went on theirs but the pump wouldn't turn on. I can hear my pump prime great when key is turned and when I try to start it. But it won't start. Is there a sensor that could cause this? I appreciate all the help guys..

Fuel Pump primes, so PCM is is alive at least to run it. I don't have access to 95 schematics, but do the injectors have their own fuse? Can't think of a way to test them and check fuel rail pressure without more tools... What about seeing if fuel spurts out of the fuel rail schrader valve?

The distributor signals to the computer where the engine is in it's cycle. It might have a TFI module which the computer then controls for advance. Check for spark anyway? Don't shock yourself doing that tho so be careful...

'95 huh? That would be pre OBDII so not sure how to pull codes from it.

Not much help, but hope it does anyway
