Gas issue?

Gas issue?
I drive an 85 F150 with the fuel injected engine, 4wd and auto trans. Since I bought the truck a few weeks ago the engine has bogged down and almost died whenever I try to give it any more than a minimal amount of gas. Now, this afternoon the truck started doing it with less and less gas applied, and eventually died. It will start, but sputters out dies almost immediately after starting. Any ideas on what could be wrong here?

Welcome to FTE. 
Could be several things, first things I would check are fuel pressure and pull codes from the computer.

Thanks, I'll have to give this a shot tomorrow when I have more time. I just wasted about an hour installing a new fuel filter only to find out that I replaced the fuel pump with the filter...not a good time.
