Additive manufacturing is huge for complex shapes like turbine blades and fuel pintles in aerospace.
Laser and electron beam sintering has been around for a long while.
GE recently purchased an Italian company and has scaled up the 'stage' of their previous equipment 50X.
There was a recent press release about their using it for powerplant turbines.

I just remembered the latest thing in really cool printing, cheap fast flexible solar panels, developed here in Aus.
