1986 Ford E350 cutaway. I am guessing it is a 36 to 40 gal main tank this came out of. see pictures.
That float (brass) was still available from Ford four years ago. It fits a number of different models (cars and trucks) and many model years too. It's a $10 piece. My local dealer had it in stock. If you can't come up with a Ford part number I will dig out my invoice from last time. BTW, don't waste your time with junkyards on that part. You'll be lucky to find one that's any good. Buy it new.
Well went to for dealer today and the were able to cross reference it to the following part number E^UZ-9275-BA No longer available. cant find one anywhere spent more than two full days on the interweb and phone calls. I was able to get a new float. But i can not find the screen. SO i am going to leave the screen off and add one more filter in line just out of the tank to make sure no crude gets through. so that will make three filters On just after the tank before the Tank selector switch one after the tank selector switch and of course the stupid brass one in the new carrb
Well this just sucks that a 1987/87 parts are becoming hard to get or not at all.
I had thought you were only needing the float (COAZ-9202-B.) I will dig out the part number for the sock if you like. It is available from Airtex--and others. It is NLA from FORD.

Yeah. Spectra Premium part # FG173A. List is $76.99. This part is for the 1988-up fuel injected cutaways. But I'm sure you could make a spacer to take the place of where the tank pump mounts and still mount a fuel strainer at the correct level.
