Sanderson headers not lining up??
Plain steel
Aluminum painted with VHT
I just installed sanderson ff427 headers on my built 390. It's a 75 f100 4x4. The fitment of the headers couldn't of got easier the, all that needed moved was the brake line bracket and the lines, they fit around the starter pretty good but there close. While doing the install the driver side went in fine and bolted right up but it was a different story for the passenger side. It seemed that I couldn't get all the bolts in without one being cross threaded, so after taking the header on and off so many times I just went ahead and put some washers behind the bolt and drove it up in there. I'm no master mechanic or nothing, hell it might be my error but has others ran into the bolt holes not lining up or do you think it's my fault? Either way there on with no leaks and sound mean goin down the road with open headers!!!

Well it was prolly just me then maybe I was in to much of a hurry to hear it run but there on there and they look and sound good so I reckon it don't matter.. Do you have any problems taken the starter out with em on?
