Sorry for the delay, hadn't noticed the message. The 53deere refers to this 40S,
I no longer have it and except for taking to a couple shows every year didn't really have much use for it and i only have about 1.5 acres of land. When I was a kid we did a little farming, some 2 cylinder tractors, a 3020 and a 4020. The first tractor I drove was an early styled B. I actually worked as a mechanic at a JD dealership for a few years also, many years ago now. I restored the 40 just because I like old tractors. I also like old trucks. My dad still has his 1940 1.5 ton Ford in pieces in the shed, I think the first truck I ever drove. When I was five he bought a new 1966 F100 CC SWB pickup. That truck I drove in high school. I've owned at least a dozen Ford trucks and Broncos over the years starting with a '60 F100 4x4 when I was 18. So I guess Deere and Ford are kind of in my blood.

Hey reneck, I was doing some research for the past two hours and was wondering if you could help me with a few questions that I still have. Its about the dana 44 and dana 60. Seen you posted, asking a member if his diff cover had 1/2" or 3/8" bolt heads. So the dana 44 has 1/2" head size?
    Cheers, dashman

Hi , I am intrested in the flatbed that you have for sale, not the whole truck just the bed. What is your best price on it? My name is Bill, please email me at [email protected] or call me at 270-446-0037 if its still for sale. Thank you.
