i got rid of my headers it wasn't worth it for me . for one had to pull passenger side header to replace starter plus the constance leaks plus on my f-250 4x4 highboy i didn't notice a difference so i converted back to stock manifolds now nice an quiet an i still have gobbs an gobbs of power . well thats my 2 cents
Yup, those are the right ones. I've had the same ones on my '75 for 13 years with no problems. In fact I run nothing but headers on my vehicles since my engines would probably choke and die with stock manifolds. It's true that you have to pull the right one to remove the starter but how often does that happen? The key to preventing leaks using good gaskets and keeping the bolts tight. Stage 8 locking fasteners are a good idea too.
You'll have to pull the starter, unbolt the right motor mount, and jack up the engine to insert the header from below. On the 89120, two tubes will be forward of the mount and the other two tubes will be behind it.
