Not really, other than i talked to a dyno shop the other day only to find out none really want to dyno a diesel. Not giving up tho, really want to know where this thing is.
Found a killer thread for a zf6 swap, just sticking it here so its easy to find in the future. zf6 swap
My smoke puff limiter should be here this evening or tomorrow. Need it to pass the puff test now that im back in the valley, and im hoping it improves drivability some while towing. Have a lead on a dyno shop, cant manage to connect with them however.
Smoke limiter is on, i bought a couple different springs to play with and ive got it a bit closer to what im looking for. In a nut, the thing works like its supposed to, except its designed for pumps that are putting out 70-85cc and turbos that make 10-20 psi. With my 110cc, it holds the fuel back till about 6psi, then just gives it all back resulting at smoke show when the fuel comes on. Im trying to tune it to be a bit more linear scaling. With no more stroke than is built into the thing, going to be quite a bit of trial and error im thinking. Too much seat pressure will just make it that much longer till the fuel comes on, so i need the same or even a little less seat pressure, but considerably higher spring rate. Havent ruled out the idea of trying a smaller diaphragm, which would likely be easier to tune (assuming im able to get the sizes), but would most likely involve brazing the correct linkage onto the new diaphragm. Minus having to pull the top of the pump off to tweak springs, the spring method is a lot easier so im starting there. To sum up, it works for its intended application, and it will allow me to pass the opacity test. Hopefully with more tweaking and tuning i can get it dialed in to what im looking for.
