Title is Sr. Instrument Tech. at Emory University.
But basically I'm a machinist that builds/designs/modifies any research equipment the professors can dream up.

My job title I suppose would be sales associate, working at our local NAPA auto parts.

Starting in August I'll be a full time student at Iowa State University

I am the owner/operator of a auto body shop for a bit over 30 years. I have also worked on anything with a motor throughout my life since a little boy.

Geez,
So many cool sounding careers.
I'm just a commercial electrician, I bend conduit, install conduit, pull wires through conduit, and then twist the wires together with a wire nut...

That's one thing I couldn't do. I must have done something when I was young that ticked Mr. Electron off really bad. We don't get along at all.

I fix heavy equipment. That means wrenching, welding, fabricating, and electrical will need to be done by me in a usual day. My bosses have their fingers in many different pies so my job is quite varied. I work on everything from 800 hp wood grinders to excavators all the way down to building a full on gravel screening operation for the gravel pit my bosses own. The only reason ive stayed for 10 years is because every day is different. I couldnt imagine having to do the same thing every day.

I'll keep you in the loop. It's going to be my first year, so it may be a while before I am of any value to anyone as an engineer But I'll always be looking for internships.
