We've already gone through this exercise. It's been to the dealer 6 or 7 times. My file has been escalated to regional service manager. The tech guys at Ford are aware of it. It has a parasitic draw that is intermittent. It is the problem related to the software. But there is no solution yet. So unless there has been some miraculous breakthrough. I'll just have to live with it for the time being. We did this from the other F150 forum. Remember the one with 90 pages on this same issue. Thanks for the offer though.
I had the same problem with my 08 F150. Every time you run a lead acid battery down you run the risk of warping a cell. If you drain the battery totally dead then test it, the test will probably show a weak cell.
I ended up going to a deep cycle Gel Cell battery. I bought the largest battery that would fit in the truck. I think it was 950CCA. My truck could sit for a week and still start right up, the old lead acid battery would last about 2 days. It was an expensive battery but well worth the price.
Luckily my 2012 doesn't have this problem. Good Luck.
