2003 F150 4wd with auto climate control. My blower for heat and AC completely stopped working a few weeks ago. I have checked all fuses, i replaced the relay under the dash, i replaced the blower motor control module. I supplied power to the blower motor itself and it ran fine with no noises. I ran the self test on the controller in the dash under the radio and it passed. I am not sure what else to try. Any suggestions? Thanks
That doesn't answer the question I asked. There should be power to two pins of the relay, one for the high side of the coil, the other for the load on either the C or the NO terminal.
Does the relay energize? (IE, does it audibly 'click' when the blower is supposed to operate
You need both proper power and proper grounds, in the right places and at the correct times.
If the blower relay doesn't activate when the blower should be operating, then either it's missing its power or its ground. You'll need to verify power (HOT in RUN) to pin 86 of the and that the EATC supplies a ground to pin 85 of the relay when the blower motor is switched on. When the relay energizes, it then supplies power to the BSC module to operate the blower motor.
