as title infers-where is the blasted thing hidden?- i have found the horn relay- the voltage reg- the blower resistor-but cannot seem to find the sneaky hidden devil.
I recently failed to find the "blower motor relay" while trying to fix my Uncle's '90 E-250. Its mentioned in Haynes and/or Chiltons but stumped both of us. We had the dash all apart & replaced both dash switches, checked the speed resistors, etc & confirmed the blower itself worked. I believe I saw mention of 1 of those accursed inline 'fusible links' but could not locate that either.
Ultimately I did a quick & dirty temporary fix by patching in a plug so that when the blower was needed he could open up the hood & plug the blower motor directly to the battery.
I Have An 88 Quigley And The Front Blower Quit Working . The Relay Is Bolted To The Radiator Support In Front Of The Battery On Passenger Side You Have To Remove The Battery First . The Part #mr 27 At Advance Or Autozone.
