i did a DTC scan and this code came up. cleared it and rechecked a week later and it is back. the only thing i noticed is it will blow black smoke until I get to about 10 PSI of boost.

No bully junk on my truck....
But before I found FTE I did have a programmer in stalled. I had a ficm and pcm issue and was told by the dealer the flashed back to stock.
Looks like a trip to the dealer.
Is there anything I can check before I go to the dealer?

i sent Ed a email and this is the reply I received.
Hi Eddie -
This code doesn't effect ANYTHING (not runnability, driveability, fuel economy, nothing), but it appears that during your repair, we made a mistake and put 2004 software on your FICM (given your 2004 truck) but our team didn't snap to the fact that your FICM actually had 2003 software on it before - specifically ARZ2AH10. Argh!
So...what to do from here? Well...:
a. we could have you ship that module back on over and we could get you set up with the correct software
b. you could elect to not worry about it as it impacts NOTHING
c. we could ship you out a replacement module with the right software and you could get that module back to us
d. some other idea you have.
Let me know what you want to do.
