I am looking at getting a scanner for my 6.0.
I would like to know which one I should get. I have an iPhone & ipad.
Will the dash boss scanner cover more items than the Scan Gauge II?
Thanks for your input.
Auto eginuity is the only way to go for the money, you can buzz test, power balance testing, and look at basically every sensor on the truck. I just got mine last week and I love it, it takes about 5 minutes to learn. You use a pc to run the programming to the obd2 connector. Check them out on YouTube. Now my friends with 6.0's are calling me so they don't have to pay $50 to $100 bucks to get there trucks tested.

AE is certainly a good tool, but not practical for daily use.
You want a real diagnostic tool try Ford VCM II with IDS
I would still charge something to scan somebody's truck with either AE or IDS. The tools cost money, why not make a buck or two to help off-set the cost?
