Glad that worked out for you. Thanks for the followup. I was starting to wonder when all the other cases of strange climate control behavior started being attributed to the resistor. I just knew your specific symptoms were like mine. When you hit the off button and the defrost goes to full blast looks like the resistor is the fix.

I just had to wait for the part to come in.
It was a bit of a PITA to do but still only took about 30min.
