I have a 04 6.0 with 90K. Never had any issues with it as far a head gaskets, puking coolant or anything, but I did the head gasket pressure test using the pressure gauge hooked up to the coolant bottle just to make sure. Never saw more than 10-12 psi so I'd say shes SAT. But i was thinking, has anyone ever hooked up a perminent gauge to monitor Coolant pressure in case something ever did happen? I was thinking I might be able to run just a universal pressure sensor and use my Edge CTS to monitor it...just a thought. Seeing if anyones done the same.
I used a 0-20 psi gauge. I work at a shipyard and we have a large selection of calibrated gauges from our tool crib. But the gauge was about 5" in diameter. You have a picture of your gauge set up?

You could use the fuel pressure gauge setup to monitor your coolant pressure however if you're already running the fuel pressure I don't know how you'd set up to run both, but I'd think that would be possible.
