weird climate control issue
I think I have multiple issues with the eatc, but before I go buy a bunch of parts, I wanted to check with ford truck people and see if I'm correct.
Truck is an 06 f350 diesel lariat 4x4 cc. It has electronic automatic temperature control (eatc). The eatc unit has several issues 1. The buttons work intermittently or not at all. The unit won't self-test because it appears the automatic button won't work. In addition, the ac button doesn't appear to work. Also only 3 of the six buttons along the bottom light up.
In addition to that, the blower only works on high.
I think I need a new eatc and a blower control module.
Thoughts?

I can't believe that with all the eatc and blower motor problems these trucks have Noone has any comments on this. I'll just order an eatc rebuild and a blower motor controller transistor and try replacing stuff till it works.
