Viper VSS500 with a proximity sensor was installed today! Pretty cool to remote start my truck with my iPhone!

The insurance replaced the stereo with a Kenwood DNX690HD. I like it so far, but the steering wheel controls are not quite right... Still have some tweaking to do there...

That's a Sweet device there I bought mine a couple years to early mine respondes back to the keypad if alarm triggers but I have to be Fairly close for the notifier part to work

 

I checked into SmartStart for my remote and thought it was cool right up to the monthly fee.

 

Well I made out on it, because a buddy at work bought it and chipped in 200.00 on the install in exchange for me helping him tile a shower. Got to love the barter system!

I went with the 3 year plan, which cost 126.00 with a 20.00 referral credit. I don't think that's bad at all!!

 

I could not bring myself to pay someone to start my truck..... I can live my 2,000' range.
