C6 Transmission Mount problem

I have a 1972 F100 with a freshly rebuilt 390 and C6 Auto Trans. I'm about to put the engine and trans back into the truck, and I have had a real hard time finding a new transmission mount that has the holes that mount onto the Trans that are drilled in the right spot. They are either aligned just right, but not centered on the bracket, or just way off entirely. I have gone through LMC, O'reily's, NAPA, and a small mom n pop place. NAPA sent me one with the holes slotted so there's wiggle room, but the mount is about a quarter of an inch shorter than the one I have, and quite honestly just not as beefy. I'm about to just drill new holes in the proper spot and deal with a slotted connection. Anyone else come across this. Just a little frustrated..

Rabbit, The C6 is a single piece bell & case unit. There are 3 different bell patterns, the FE, small block W,C, and 385 series 429/460.

A round top FE bell should mate up to your FE 390 engine with no issues.

I love the fellas out in Waxahachie. I'll give them a hollar. They're just around the corner from me.

Man you need to sober up and take your hate somewhere else.
