noob with transmission question
I have a 1968 ford f100 2wd, it has a c6 transmission not sure what year, and a 79 400m, im having issues tracking down the right tranny mount, where could i look for the correct transmission mount, auto zone and shucks did not work for me 
. Mabye if someone had the part number or something. Thanks!

Blue, You should be able to use the mount that came in the truck. I still have the one that came in mine with a 3spd. now running a C6. I did have to slide it backwards, and drill new bolt holes.

I'm thinking that both Instif and John are right. The mount should work as long as it bolts up to that cross-member and transmission. You should be okay ordering one for your truck like would be found on an FE and an auto for that year. If it isn't a perfect fit you can change things up a bit like John suggested.
