Cross Member Help
I have a 65 f100 thats has no engine or transmission or crossmember. i have found a mid 60's donor with a c-6. what crossmember will i need ? I am sure by the whole in the floor it used to be a stick shift truck but with no crossmember i am starting from scratch... Thanks....

I get a cross member from any salvage truck up to a 78 model and probably even newer; beyond that, that house a automatic trans; also check your transmission mount adapter plate attach to your C-6. If you Trans mount adapter plate its bad replace it with a better use one or a new one from a parts store. All of them (Crossmember) will should have three drilled side plate holes to allow you to adjust the set-up length once you place you engine & trans combo into your truck.
Also ensure you got the right engine perches for your engine as well.
