I'm looking for a good scan tool for my truck. One like at the dealer where I can look at a live stream of what the truck is doing, what's going wrong, ect. Any good, affordable ones out there?
Are you looking for software to install on a laptop, or a stand alone gauge? Autoenginuity for software ($350-$400).... Scangauge ($120-$160) - Edge CS or CTS ($300-$400) - Torque Pro for Android ($30) - Dashboss for I-stuff ($160??)
Definitely Autoenginuity with Ford bundle. There are cheaper options but none with the breadth of sensors covered. I believe about the only things it does not do that the mega $$$$ dealer tool does is program the PCM
I recently bought a scan tool made by a company called Autel. I bought it because I work on several project cars for buy and resell purposes and it allows me to check all of the modules from Engine, Trans, Airbag, and Brake, as well as random sensors around the body that I never really thought of. I have only gotten to play around with it a little, but so far I really like it. Cost like $399 from Account Suspended. It is the Autel MaxiDiag Elite.
