Seeking Gauge Thoughts...

So, thinking I'd like to add a fuel pressure gauge. Currently I use my tuner display to view Boost, EGT, ECT, & EOT. Since there are very few single gauge pods around, what would you fill a gauge hole with in my shoes? Typical use is daily driver, occasional light to medium towing. Running mild tune with upgraded intercooler, full exhaust. '03 with +/- 178K.

EDIT:
Just saw auto meter has the factory match series HPOP pressure available...anybody use this or similar?

I added single gauge pod to a-pillar and retained grab handle. Then used a dual-gauge from spatechnique (google it) to put fuel pressure and volts in that single gauge. In hindsight, fuel press and exhaust gas temp would have been better, but i like having voltage avail.

Pretty much everything is available through the OBDII port except fuel pressure, oil pressure and exhaust gas temp. Also some like to monitor the cooling system pressure so I guess you could add that to the list. Once you figure out how many gauges you want it's just a matter of picking from those four, assuming you'll be running an OBD monitor. Just to add to the selection, there are gauges available that display more than one value on the same dial.

Thanks for the mention of the single pod. I'm not so fond of A-pillar pods because I use that grab handle. I've seen the singles advertised but never used, didn't realize that the handle was retained...

I want to see this when you do it. I also like and use the grab handle.

I have my fuel pressure gauge in a steering column pod along with my scan gauge above my rear view mirror. I am very happy with those locations....I don't like a pillar gauges. I am very much considering the dash boss with EGT and fuel pressure additions. I can designate my iPod, iPhone or iPad for gauge viewing. I like that idea as the truck will have nothing to see for prying eyes.

Any chance I can get a pic from drivers perspective on that column install? I'm curious on the finished appearance as I was considering that as well if I go single. If I go double I'll likely go above the mirror as those won't be so much the full-time tracking as much as once a day or so.

Not the best pic, but it's the only one I have on my phone right now. I'll take a better pic later this evening. It does block a little of the speedo, but not enough to bother me.

I had A pillar gauges on my truck before. Found it just made the blinds pitcher much bigger. I really "like the over the rear view mirror" pods. Going to go that route myself

Thanks for all the discussion, though I'm still back at the original issue. I like the over mirror pod the best, but only have one NEED for the 2-3 holes available. I like the notion of seeing hpop pressure there but not necessary and pricey just to fill a hole. I guess I could throw a voltmeter in... Otherwise, the single gauge a-pillar pod sounds like the runner up.

Take a look at this link. There is a single pod mount in the photos.
If you read down a bit in the thread you can find where Misky6.0 got it.

This is the one I also want.
