I did have one tested at NAPA. Guy said that one was fine. I think they're about 4 yrs old anyway. I make lots of short trips.
Short trips are hell on our batteries even with a good Alt. Lot of battery choices I use Costco's, but others have been happy with Walmart/Sams, Napa. Need to do 'em in pairs and go for an 850CCA or more. Alternator needs to be at least a 140A unit or even bigger for your short trips, or you could hook up to a charger (often) and get by with a 140A. Most our trucks came stock with a 110A Alt and is well undersized...
I need to find somewhere local that has a the M12x1.5 thread adapter. Autozone, O'Reilly's, Advanced and NAPA ain't got anything that will work. Tried Tractor Supply as well. Fastenal doesn't. Local hydraulic shops a no go too. Really would like to test it this weekend. Not willing to waste a possibly good ICP to cut it up.
With brand new stand-pipes, dummy plugs and a new STC...I have to say it's gonna be my IPR. I will get to the air pressure test ASAP. Right now we have freezing rain...I just can't catch a break.

Not as easy as an air test, but more likely the problem......

Find a hydraulic hose supplier in your area. My neighbor found the fitting at one in my area.
$250 for new batteries. Debating on just putting in new batteries and FICM to see if she runs. I hate to order the stupid ICP fitting, pay shipping and wait for something I might not need. I am breaking the bank trying to keep this silly thing running. Love driving it, don't get me wrong. But, admiring it as I walk to the other vehicle in the morning sux!
Bit the bullet. Got an ipr pigtail & new batts (NAPA LEGEND). Ordered OTC 511761 adapter, ipr socket and oil filter cover socket from autotoolworld.com. Ed ficm should be here tomorrow.

Somebody tell me it'll be ok after all this...
My FICM was doing exactly the same thing, except I wasn't experiencing a long start

It will be interesting to see if this is the "FIX" or if he will be asked to post HPOP #s
