HELP!!! No start issue.
Good Job Jswarts
Iv Noticed everytime I install new Batterys I can tell that First start of the Day Smoothes out LOTS FASTER with New Batterys
You guys need to look into a High Output atlternator to make those batterys last alittle longer
Get you alittle Battery hydrometer now and before your replacement part of the New Battery runs out Give them a Test
Im usually dragging in New Batterys 2-3weeks before the free replacement runs out
Do you guys ever Check KOEO Battery Volts really fast before you Start your trucks???
Well if its stock IDK about how good
Its a little under powered
I agree Mark!!!
We/ME Jumped the Gun alittle for shure
I think the thing that hung us up was his truck had started Prior to the work (The way I took it anyways) SO just seamed like a wire might have been hooked up wrong
Having all his doors Open and Lightes ect.. On was a Huge factor now looking Back
Live-N-Learn Huh
Also, I've made no secret of the fact that I don't like this truck. Some of it is the truck itself and some of it was my own doing (read my sig line).
I'm not a big fan of the 6.0l and the front end wander drives me nuts (no pun intended). Yes I've had it back to the dealer and various alignment shops several times with no joy. Driving the truck alone is a pain. Add a 30' travel trailer and the pucker factor goes through the roof.
On my side, I chose a short bed, extended cab pick up. I hate it. Every time I try to haul some sheet rock or plywood and I have to leave the tail gate down, I wish I'd bought a long bed. Every time I try to get someone older than 3 in the back seat, I wish I'd bought a crew cab.
On the plus side, the transmission seems to be holding up great.
However, for a variety of reasons, I'm stuck with it for the time being. I'll maintain it, but, nothing more (the up idle mod wasn't supposed to cost me anything). My opinion and opinions are like buttholes. Just the way I feel.
