Is this Testing them Unhooked with your DVM Right??
A Fulley Charged Battery Tested UNHOOKED Should be at 12.68 Volts
When you Have the Truck running and the ALternator is Charging you want to see 13.5 Volts Up into the 14.3-5 volts range But this is with Truck RUNNING With ME?????
Ok. Volt meter said 12.4. I'm going by what jswartz said, and, he said dead batts. I've been unable to start the truck at all since this problem started. I've no way to tell if the alternator works without removing it from the truck and taking it to someone. Might be the next step in the process.
By the way here's the link to the thread I mentioned before:
If your Batterys can Engauge starter and Turn Over Motor that's Pretty Good sign
What does yours Do??
No. Turn the key to on or acc. and the radio came on tuned to AM 530. Turn the key to start and all I got was a clicking noise. Stopped trying when jswartz said if I kept trying I could kill the ficm.

It is good to know the "work-arounds" on battery testing, but why discourage the OP from actually having each one load tested - a proper load test will always tell you more than a voltage check. It truly is the best place to start!
Your right. I probably sent 12 volts to the pcm. I tried following the instructions on the mod. No one said anything about only 5 volts. As a matter of fact, I asked about this in another thread I'd started and was told I could hook up to any 12v wire as I didn't have the ability to install the upfitter switches.
The Colors you have at Least the "BCPSW Circuit" is OK to Give 12 volt

The more I think about it, I think I'll take the batts. and the alternator to Autozone for testing. It's free and can't hurt anything. Right?
