That ball mount is used for banging your shins on......not towing.

 

Well it is a cheby so we know it was not really used (or capable) to tow anything. Lol But it had to have the receiver drop hitch ball installed for the "cool points". 4wd was there in case if got stuck on a parking curb in the mall.

I believe that is not even an original crew cab...no rear door handle pockets? weld seam on roof, primer around rear side windows...so could be a custom built cab and rear doors....if so they did a pretty good job from 20'.

 

Hard to say. I looked through the pictures and it appears that the other side door has the door handle pockets. Maybe there's some weird body work on the one door.
