late model electronically controlled drivetrain install
I absolutely love the HydroBoost braking setup. Arguably the best modification I've made. Firm pedal, massive braking torque when needed. Easy on the leg in traffic. I'd absolutely use this system in a heart beat. In a configuration where the booster is on the firewall, it'd be even cheaper, too, with availability of OEM - grade high pressure hoses. The hoses and ends in my case cost ~ $200 (more than the booster) ~ $140 a brand new OEM AC Delco unit from Amazon for a 2010 Silverado.

built the bench skirt from 1/8" aluminum.
I sectioned and widened and extended (upwards) a dodge caravan bench seat.
Bought a SoundStream powered sub and Lanzar USB amp, and then JBL separates (tweeter and mids). The Lanzar amp has a built in cross-over. I can stream tunes from my iPhone without having a head unit. Keeps things real clean on the dash. Audio from google or Apple maps will also prompt me along when I've got directions turned on and then fade back to music.

added a cover to previous owner's hack job of sheet metal @ hood latch. Attached with nutserts.
added coolant reservoir to make sure radiator remains full upon heat cycling. Isn't a thing of beauty, but it does the job.
Thanks for the flow of encouraging words along the way!
I know the GM drivetrain makes me an outcast to some. The $ involved with a comparable current Ford drivetrain (like the Coyote, which I'd have preferred) made my choice for me.

a bit wider angle. I need to make an engine cover one day. Not a big fan of the GM truck motors aesthetic. The fan stands proud of the radiator about 1/2" - you can see the side profile here. I scored the back side of the shroud with a tablesaw to make the sharp bends.
