Therapy for me too. But, I'm eager to drive it. And always fun to see your own vision come to reality.

Will have to turn down the shoulder in a lathe to get the steering shaft support Heim closer to the frame. There will be about 1/4" of shoulder and the jam nut when installed.
Here's a photo of it though.

Finished off the exhaust, except a bit of final welding.
You can see the in series fuel pumps. They are Bosch and come from a Mercedes Benz. I had them as spares from my 1992 500E. They connect to the corvette filter / regulator and from there to a hard stainless fuel line towards the engine. They are mounted on vibration isolators on a bracket I built.

The 9" has a locker of some flavor.

Tips are double wall stainless from flow master. 2 1/2" to 4".
I decided not to go over the rear end as I'm thinking I will one day install an IRS from a thunderbird or Mark VIII.

Apologize for all of the posts. My iPad only allows one photo per reply. If I add an extra file, the web app replaces the precious file. Uggghh

Here is the driver's side outlet. They are very symmetrical. From above the tips loosely follow the swelling curve of the fender.

Note the scale makes things look rather funky in the photo. In reality it matches the passengers side really well.

Debating if I will ceramic coat these pipes and manifolds. Kind of pricey. Still lots of labor went in to them and I'd like to protect.
Anyone know a reasonable vendor near San Diego that won't want a arm and a leg to coat?

In looking back I should have used stainless. Initially the extra dollars over aluminized steel seemed more than I wanted to spend.
Would have been good for my TIG skills too

I will make some heat shields for the rear fenders from 1/8" aluminum that I used to make the fan shroud to protect the fenders from heat.
