Will have to turn down the shoulder in a lathe to get the steering shaft support Heim closer to the frame. There will be about 1/4" of shoulder and the jam nut when installed.

Finished off the exhaust, except a bit of final welding.
You can see the in series fuel pumps. They are Bosch and come from a Mercedes Benz. I had them as spares from my 1992 500E. They connect to the corvette filter / regulator and from there to a hard stainless fuel line towards the engine. They are mounted on vibration isolators on a bracket I built.
Tips are double wall stainless from flow master. 2 1/2" to 4".
I decided not to go over the rear end as I'm thinking I will one day install an IRS from a thunderbird or Mark VIII.

Debating if I will ceramic coat these pipes and manifolds. Kind of pricey. Still lots of labor went in to them and I'd like to protect.
Anyone know a reasonable vendor near San Diego that won't want a arm and a leg to coat?
In looking back I should have used stainless. Initially the extra dollars over aluminized steel seemed more than I wanted to spend.
Would have been good for my TIG skills too
