Eristic water pump?

So my water pump went out in my 6.0. I saw this item on ebay, has anyone used one? Is it a good water pump?

Not too sure about quality on this piece. Is the impeller metal or plastic? I would typically stay away from "cheap" parts that are valuable to a motors health. That being said, I have used plenty of Dorman parts on various vehicles and they have all seemed to hold up very well.
I guess you would have to weigh the options. Is the price and effort worth the possibility of doing it twice?

Metal impeller on that piece and a decent price.

The cheaper pump at O'Reillys has a metal impeller as well, easier to warranty than thru eBay too.

I would be more worried about cheap bearings than a plastic impellor

thanks for everyone's input. i think i am going to try it. I have an issue paying for the OEM one and still having the plastic impeller. I am going to order this one for now and order me a this one when i get some more money in.

I would be more than willing to bet Chinese knockoff.

Please post a photo of the box and paperwork
when you get it. Try to find country of origin
on the box.

And I for one would not risk a $12K engine on that.
