When replacing a 6.0 water pump, would a Autozone or Napa brand be ok, or is this another International/Ford item only? My International dealer wants $300 for a new pump.
Buy it from TousleyFordParts - you can get it for around $160.
10-4, however I did see an interesting write up from NAPA, they say that because their impellers are metal, they last longer. Also their remans are $66... Maybe you get what you pay for?

I have had a Napa with the metal impellor in mine for a good while now. No problems. I believe Benny (Blade35) has an O'Reillys or Checkers in his ( also the metal impellor reman from the same supplier as Napa is selling I believe)
I'm a fan of lifetime warranty stuff myself. On the easy to change parts that is. I just looked and the Oreillys lifetime one looks like it has a plastic impeller. But if the temps are monitored then it can be swapped indefinitely. $117 seems kinda high tho for a non oem part. I've still got the original one in mine tho.
My napa with metal impellor and lifetime warranty was $46 with $9 core for actual payment of $37 if I recall correctly.
One point of caution if you buy napa (for me anyway) buy a seperate new o-ring. The one sold seperately fit perfectly. The one in the box was the wrong size. The new o-ring was 2 or 3 bucks.

Man, my napa says the cheaper remains are no longer available. All they had was $116 Chinese ones.
