just putting thoughts to words.... going to install EGR gasket and O-rings in morning, thinking I should check catalytic converter as well not sure it makes that much difference but at cruising speeds may be just enough blockage to cause trouble...any thoughts

Use the SGII EBP Gauge to see if there is any exhaust blockage
EBP will be high if exhaust is Blocked
But also remember that High EBP could be something else

VGT is slightly odd, but there have been many to show 80+ at idle.
Ok Guys I took the truck on a ten mile warm up this morning to ensure she reaches operating temps here are the new readings:
KOEO
ICV .23
IPR 14.4
ICP 0
FMP 48
MAP 14.3
EBP 14.4
KOER
RPM 688-694
ICV .77
IPR 21.4
ICP 583
EBP 16.4
BST .3-.5
MAP 14.4-14.7
VGT starts at 74 falls to 85 slowly ( one point per second)
EGR 35 (not new gaskets)
On a side note the only time I saw VGT not rest at 85 is when I disconnected the MAP sensor VGT would then stay at 75. Not sure if that is relevant, but can't help thinking it is. While driving I watched ICP top out at 3990 at WOT, VGT would drop to 73 at a stop and then drop to 84.Thanks again for all your help! by the time I get through this one I will know this motor inside and out I'm thinking.
