The MAP, EBP and BAR at KOEO should be within 1.5 PSI of one another at KOEO as they are reading atmospheric pressure. When the engine is running the EBP and MAP will change. I have read the MAP, BAR and EBP need to be within .5 PSI of one another but have also read that they are supposed to be within 1.5.
After more reading I find that EBP should remain within .5 of BAR, my readings at idle were up and down, should they have remained steady?
That's KOEO (key on, engine off) once the engine is KOER (key on, engine run) things change and of course you'll see higher EBP and MAP as the engine is pushing out exhaust and making a small amount of boost at idle.
As long as your VGT % responds to throttle you are looking good. If it remains @ 80+% at all times then you have issues.
One thing you could do, even though it looks like your EBP sensor looks ok is to go ahead and clean it along with the EBP tube.
interesting find... If I disconnect map sensor it defaults to 2.8 and vgt rests at 70, i disconnected BAR sensor, blew air into plug.. I now have BAR readings back. LOL (realy pounding head on desk) Ive got to get some work done today... When I get home I will vacuum out EGR, and clean EBP and see what happens, I know the turbo is working on way to work this morning I romped on it and watched boost gewt 28 before I had to let off.
EPB Cleaned, Waiting on EGR O-rings and gasket, MAP is clean. BAR sensor is intermittent and is driving me nuts. Engine is idling better still has a miss 1100-1800Rpms doesn't seem as bad though. I haven't had any new codes. VGT like to stay 85 at idle but responds to the slightest touch of throttle. On the hwy today when she got warmed up I stomped the pedal....took a good second or two to respond, turbo spooled up and bst maxed out at 27.4. FICM stayed at 48 ICM climbed with throttle wasnt watching real close where it topped out at.
