Just a heads up, if you want help around here try being a little more specific and polite. There are people on here that pretty much know everything about these old fords so just be patient and I'm sure someone will help you out.
I'll try one last time!
Look at the illustration I posted in post #7 and tell me the number of the part you're looking for. If you do that, 1) I'll tell you what its called, 2) I'll give you the part number, and 3) I'll tell you if any are still available and if so, who has them.
If you don't want to do that, then I can't help you!
I can't believe you are still trying Mike haha
Can't believe NumberDummy hasn't come in here all riled up haha
Anyway, I too will give one last piece of advice...LISTEN TO MIKE.
Heh, heh. Many years ago I was told I give up too easy. I disagree .
My front upper shock mount on my 1973 f100 4x4 has a rubber insert that is mount on the spring tower. I do not know what the bushing is called, and there for can not order a new. one side has one, one does not. Again this is not on the shock or goes on the shock. It is around the top bolt, on top of the spring tower.
I can upload a picture if that would help

What happened is the bolt losen and he put glue around it. Now the bolt is kinad rounded from hitting the sides. There is no rubbber that goes there my mistake.

Well, ya never clarified what the part is and we still don't know what the heck yer talking about.
The coil spring retaining strap & hardware is the best I can decipher in Klingon... or is that Bajoran?
I didn't know dictionaries were authored. Merriam Webster sure has a lot of time on her hands. Any one ever see a pic of that woman? I've Googled and I guess she don't like to get her pic taken nor published.
This is the greatest thread of all time. Thanks for the signature quote and for wasting everyone's time on some rubber that doesn't exist. You are going to do fine here on FTE.
