So I'm looking for gauges for my F350. While I don't want to sacrifice quality to save a penny, I do not want to overpay for a product either when there is a cheaper one that will get the job done. I'm looking for that great in-between product. So my FTE members, what would you recommend?
Even if you had to buy a used IOS device to run it on you would still be in to it way less than the 880 bucks or so that I am into my edge insight. That includes the CTS insight, EAS EGT probe and starter kit, EAS universal sensor input and EAS pressure sensor that I read fuel pressure with.

Gentlemen, thank you all for your input. Before I had posted the original comment I had already placed an order for the ELM327 for the Android. It was nothing more than $15 plus shipping.. not sure how it will work for me. But I have research both Scanguage II and dashboard and believe that I will go with the Scanguage II. I will probably pick it up today provided that they have it in stock at the local Autozone.
I myself have my "butt-saver" analog gauges on the pillar (EGT, fuel pressure, and boost) as they are the only "real" gauges you need to watch in order to prevent damage during every day use. I also use the Torque application to check things during a long road trip or when I'm bored sitting in traffic, otherwise it doesn't get used unless I feel I have a problem coming on. It comes in handy as well when you need to read codes. Super cheap too, adapter was around 15 dollars and the program was 5 and it has a very nice readout. I hate Apple.
