Man I just gotta say, while I am a "fanboy" of the Dashboss, I do love the look of those gauges.
I might have to do a left pillar set. I remember riding in a diesel (before I had one) that had a set and thinking how cool they look. Not that I really spend $ on looks for my truck but I see a benefit. And I am a budding private pilot - we likey gauges....
A bit of redundancy is ok in my book.
I chose carbon fiber cups and modified each gauge bracket to sit lower. Converting the LED's to Green keeps the cockpit looking uniform.
There is a company which makes digital gauge which reports 2 different values in a single gauge... I have the FP & Volts, although I am second guessing myself I should have got FP & EGT and just stuck a simply digital voltage gauge into the cigarette lighter....

When you factor in the amount of space you save, less mounting HW, wiring, etc. the price is less shocking..
SPA's the way to go if you want digital gauges, they include programmable warning limits that'll get your attention if out set parameters. I almost went that way but obviously chose analog Autometers to match.
Thanks for keeping this thread alive. I didn't realize there were apps readily available. I was actually looking for a coupon code for Scanguage II when I found this thread. I just bought a Bluetooth OBD adapter off ebay. I'm assuming it will work.
