That's quite a lot of parts there. Unfortunately those are pre 78 and very few are useful. Valve covers say they fit 351 but I don't really need any right now. If I had an older early body bronco I'd be there pretty quick to get parts.
Must be a challenge to find bronco specific parts for the 2 years of the full size dent side bronco. Nice though that so little of the rig is bronco specific and can use pickup parts. But if you needed a top or tailgate parts, damn that can't be easy.
I had a great day I managed to get all the notarized signatures I need to get my title quickly for the 86. I should have a registration for it tomorrow.

Well having a 2 year only bronco is cool for the rarity factor but finding Bronco parts can be hard. I HAD Jeff's Bronco Graveyard that had tailgates for retail prices but they worked, unfortunately now I can't find it. They have changed some things and are now selling a lot of pickup truck parts as well.
I hate when people post things like that. They don't know how to spell or even make it look like they know how. Hopefully someone can go snag it from him.
I just wish I had the extra money for the Banks setup cause I already have a Paxton carb enclosure and am slowly collecting parts to do forced induction on the 460 in the crew cab. You can buy a 78-79 Bronco all up and down the West coast for under $1,000 and there is tons of companies that make Reproduction parts, Mac's Antique Autoparts, NPD, Dennis carpenter, the list goes on.

The problem with this is, I won't go to Oregon or Cali just for a vehicle. Sure I love my Bronco but even driving as far as Olympia for me is too far. Both my Bronco and my VW bug came from Tacoma, 20-25 minutes away. Here in Washington, in an area of about 50 mile radius, there is 5 78 broncos. None of them are under 3k... Sure someone could drive some 200 miles south to pick up that perfect non running rusted out 78 for $500 but I won't. I'm lazy and too cheap to pay for gas
As for reproduction parts, there are many places as you said. JBG was one of the more notorious ones that I was told about. There is also JCWhitney and the likes. I'm just cheap and can't afford new stuffs. Junkyards are nice but they can also be expensive. Repairing broken parts however is kind of fun. It teaches me how it works and how to fix it, then it tells me if I am skilled enough to fix similar parts. If not, then I opt to get new parts but if I can fix it, I will.
What have you guys been up to today? I dragged the VW back out and did a little work. The rubber section of fuel lines in the engine bay were way too big for the engine. I had to really clamp them down and it was causing small leaks and the rubber was bulging (Yahiko might remember). So, I went to AutoZone and bought 3 feet of 1/4" line and that turned out to be perfect. It fits the steel line pretty much perfect, and I was able to cram it on the filter without too much trouble. That should be the end of any fuel leak on the engine. Now I need a sending unit to seal the fuel tank and I should be in good order. Anyone want to buy me a $90 VW sending unit ?
Other than that, I haven't done much. Toned down the timing a little so it doesn't rattle as much when I step on the gas. Umm that's about it. What about you guys?
Finished getting the title and registration issues dealt with on the 86 I bought, I got registration and title is in the mail, YAY. So I put on my new plates with new frames and gave it a bath. So now I can drive it, next need to make it more drivable.
That's good news. Have you found a set of tires and rims yet for it?
No not yet, keeping an eye out for a great deal but not at the top of the list yet, I can drive it on the 4 that are on it. The drivers seat is messed up, the starter has heat soak issues, and the carb needs a rebuild, these come first.
Dylan are you bringing the bug to the next meet?
I can bring a REAL timing light. It even reads RPM
or if you get ambitious come on over and do it here.
I got a ner floor jack 4 ton one. Now I can off that Sears
PITA. It still works just don't lift 8K trucks with it. Well
I was only lifting a corner and what not.
Pulled motor, disassembled, cleaned, painted, new valve seals, heads back on, new cam/lifters, valvetrain together, belt drive timing set, engine bay cleaned and painted, misc parts cleaned/painted
Need to buy a new oil pump pickup as the new HP/HV pump takes a different style and need to get a rebuild for the carb I don't want to run but don't have the cash for an Edelbrock, pisses me off cause last year I had 20 Edelbrock carbs on my shelf and sold them as I expected to keep getting them from work
