Don't think I've seen you, I think I would have remembered as that rig sounds like it would stand out a bit I'll make sure to keep an eye out.
You catch me around town every now and then in my orange & brown 75 highboy or my red/white '05 stang.

Welcome to FTE F100pj lots of great topics and sites hereand a few BBQ that we get to go to
Hi I'm a newer guy here. I have a rescue 72 F100 bumpside 302 HIPO now with AOD police tranny disc brakes and PS mods. I bought the powder blue truck we call project X off Craigslist from a young feller who was gonna have a baby.
He said if he couldn't get $650 for it for all the work he put into it he was gonna send it to the Pick and Pull and get $500 for it. He had new brakes and hoses all around and the saddle tank was full 22 Gal of bad gas. He musta filled it even though the hoses were cut.
I felt sorry for the guy. I thought it was worth $450 but found $600 offer coming out of my mouth.
Any way.... Any of you guys up here around Auburn or Sacramento? I thought Northern California wanted to secede from the Union or be the 53rd state.
I asked a guy where they would divide the state he said above San Francisco but I see some folks are from Modesto Madera and Fresno. All those towns are great HOT ROD towns. I grew up in San Jose.
I'm 62 Finally building a HOT ROD truck. Its part of my bucket list. I'm having a blast but its freeking expensive. I found out quick Ford parts cost more than Chebbies.
Thats OK though We have no kids, just a great Rhodesian Ridgeback to leave our property to, so the wife said spend it now get what you want (within reason).... Right...
I'm getting a SS check now thank God, so half of it is going to bills the other half is for my F100 addiction. I'm swapping and trading to support project X. It may be drivable and close to done in a few more expensive months.
I already have $5,000 invested in everything. For some folks they spend $5000 just to get their rig primered so, I'm cheap and try to do most everything myself.
I might start a Project X build thread so I can get some good advice.
