Just to go back to the oil filter for a second. Here's a pic of the correct one. Using the wrong filter and cap can cause start issues.

I thank you guys for all your advices.
I already read about the "wrong" filters. To make sure, I will pull the filter tomorrow again, and take some pictures. Unfortunately, I forgot the brand from the filter.
The humidity here s today at 8%.
Actually I'm not a big fan from any fuel or oil adds...

Morning guys!

I just pulled the oil filter. Here are some pics. Looks pretty much ok:

I also pulled the main fuel filter. Nothing abnormal, huh?

Looks good from I can see. Use caution when replacing the HFCM filter, install the new O-Ring as supplied, lube and tighten. If not done correctly it can suck air but will not leak fuel.

Btw.: Is that the filter for the automatic transmission?
Is there a second one in the pan?

Wow that truck is a rust bucket, must of originated from Ohio The last picture is the transmission filter, the screen in the pan is just to catch the big pieces if you have a failure. Use an air impact and metric socket to remove the filter canister, by hand the filter housing bracket will just twist.

WOW, filters need a lil TLC ,but there OEM with OEM cap, thats a big + , try to use a socket on the cap and just snug them dont over tighten , useing a pair of Channel locks will crack the cap, and drain water sep on the lower fuel rail .

Hi,

I checked the FICM today. I got the 4 pin version. It has 48,2V Key on engine off, and 48,5V Key on engine running.
Any other ideas? I really wanna get that fixed...
Most annoying is, that the truck runs pretty bad, when it's cold. Once warmed up, it runs like a champ.

Sounds like a case of injector stiction to me. What kind of oil and filters are you running? OEM filters and 5w40 synthetic might help you also.
