Mods are installed!!

They took me all day but I finnaly finished up my CCV build, new boost tube hoses, installed my double din radio and all new speakers. Love driving this truck now with my Infinaty from DP it has some nutz and with my new radio I now have tunes to listen to!

I built a bracket and bolted to my air filter box

I had to turn the ccv around to run the new hose

Every thing but a molded 90, 5/8 heater hose and two 5/8 splicers are in the pic

New clamps and boost hoses no more leaks but a pain in the A$$!

Sorry for the glare but it looks good either way

Props and thanks for posting the pics. I was under the impression that the intercooler pipe on the pass side of the motor was specifically not supposed to be wrapped though.

Not sure about not wraping the discharge tube I have always done it on my race cars so that the tube doesn't get heat soaked I fugured the same principle would apply here. Idk I could be wrong?

Brand and model of double-din? I like the full screen and the size of the font. Mine has tiny font and it's hard to read with a Superduty suspension. Does it have SD capability?

Yep, I wrap mine as well. Keep the incoming air as cold as possible.

So why do I read so many threads about a foil delete on the tubes & it being an easy performance mod? My pipes were already clean when I bought my truck so just curious.

The foil delete is meant for the driver's side pipe and people do that to hear the turbo "sing" more. The foil's main purpose was to deaden the turbo noise. Silly engineers.

Well I have two young kids. You could wrap my hot pipe in cement and my cab would still be a whine zone .
