I have one with green 7-segment LEDs.....

Neener neener.

However, it's the first iteration of the Hydra (before it was called "Hydra") and only holds eight calibrations (besides using different flash software and not including a bypass or no-start mode).

It sucks to read in the daylight, shadows or no.

I haven't seen this posted but there is a PCM/ECM to HEX converter in the Hydra software. Just look in tools.

There was mention of dimming (but no concrete reply). I'll be looking into this.

The dimming thing turns out to be pretty straightforward: Just press the "down" button for 3 seconds, then let up to turn the brightness down. Do the same thing to the up button to turn it back up.
