No, it would be one of the largest coincidents if it was. 40 footer is a pretty good sized (expensive to operate boat). There are quite a few ports so he was probably not even at Depoe Bay........especially with a 40 footer unless it was a charter or commercial.
The USCG started getting busy this afternoon. The ocean was rapidly becoming a nightmare and the rough seas were apparently enough to bang some equipment into it's final breaking point.

I had to put $650 worth of rubber on my commuter Ranger, damn tread separated on the drivers rear.
les Schwab had the same tires and I could have replaced just the one, but they were worn enough that wasn't a option.
Now I got brand new, white letter 235-60-15s, man they ride nice!

Morning Don, same here! Really didn't want to be here today, since it's my anniversary, but, got things I'm saving up for, and I told the wife I'd grill steak tonight when I got home.
BTW, got the cab upright, on it's new dolly, so I'll start pulling the cowl this week. 133 spot welds to remove. Ug!

Removing spot welds is a pain in the butt.......
The last people that where behind in rent moved out yesterday, so Harley and I need to get started painting the place tomorrow. Should be done by Friday and I have another couple ready to move in!
Today we're working on the lathe!
